Artificial intelligence is reshaping every industry, and the legal framework around it is evolving just as fast. The EU AI Act creates a tiered compliance architecture, prohibited practices, high-risk systems requiring conformity assessments, and general-purpose AI model obligations, that applies across the EU and, through market-access pressure, to any global provider serving European customers. We advise AI companies, deployers and enterprise adopters on where their systems fall within that framework and what obligations follow.

Data is the foundation of AI, which makes data-protection law inseparable from AI compliance. We structure data acquisition, annotation and training pipelines to respect GDPR and KVKK requirements, advise on lawful bases for processing personal data in model training, and negotiate data-sharing and licensing agreements that protect clients on both sides of an AI deployment. Intellectual property questions, who owns model outputs, how to protect proprietary training data, what open-source licenses permit, are a recurring focus of our AI practice.

On the commercial side, we draft AI-specific provisions for SaaS agreements, vendor contracts and partner arrangements: liability allocation for AI errors, output disclaimers, audit rights, and acceptable-use policies.
